Low Voltage Technician
Horizon Information Services, Inc. is currently recruiting for Technicians for Access Control, Security Systems, CCTV, Nurse Call, and Voice / Data Cabling.
- Establish voice and data networks by installing, terminating, and splicing cables.
- Installing telecommunications equipment, routers, and switchers; establishing connections and programming features following industry standards.
- Verify service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; identifying, correcting or escalating problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
Audiovisual Technician
Horizon Information Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced Audio Visual Systems Installer/Technician.
- Qualified Candidates should have the following.
- Solid understanding of signal flow and professional audio components.
- Must have experience in soldering AV connectors and cabling.
- Must be able to program audio signal processors and controllers.
- Must have good understanding of acoustics and how to properly equalize and tune a sound system for the room it is installed in.
- Must have knowledge of safe rigging practices as it relates to hanging speakers in a commercial environment.
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to train customers on the use of their systems.
- Job will include lifting heavy components, climbing scaffolding and operating lifts.
Estimator
Requires a high level of competency estimating cabling and systems projects.
Experience estimating the following low voltage systems would be beneficial: Security, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Intercom, Audio-Visual, etc.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of estimating assigned projects:
- Issue RFIs
- Schedule Takeoffs
- Specification Review
- Incorporation of Addendums
- Material Quotes
- Bid Review
- Preparation of Proposals
